4th of July Belton Parade

Since the 1850s folks from all over Texas have come to celebrate the 4th of July in Belton. This week-long celebration draws over 50,000 and features one of USA Today’s Top Ten Parades in the country!

Bloomin' Temple Festival

Head to the Santa Fe Depot Grounds for the Bloomin’ Temple Festival, an annual event built around fantastic concerts by top-class country and Tejano bands. This two-day event, held in mid-May, also includes carnival games and rides, delicious food, a kids’ zone, and fireworks.

Annual Salado Christmas Stroll historically held the first 2 weekends of December. In 2020 enjoy 2 additional weekends of Late Night Shopping, Live Music, Christmas Photo Ops and more.

UMHB Easter Pagent

In 1940, President Singleton had the idea to utilize the ruins of Luther Hall for a portrayal of Holy Week. Cynthia Sory, drama faculty member, helped bring his dream to life by writing a script, creating costumes and staging the drama. Currently, the pageant is student-directed and produced. The roles of Christ, Mary, and the Director are one of the highest honors afforded to UMHB students and are cast by the university president.

Located at Cottage Road 

Enjoy a five-and-a-half mile holiday lights attraction at BLORA your entire Family can enjoy! 

Santa’s Village will take place outdoors, behind Live Oak Pavilion, a halfway point through the park. Take a break at Santa's Village, browse vendor booths, purchase crafts, make memories in our photo stand-in!

Entrance on the right on Cottage Road prior to entering and paying for Nature In Lights.

Gate Fees:

$20 -- Car, Mini-Van & Pick-Up

$35 -- Limos, 15-Passenger Van & RVs
